Thuy Phan

Thuy Phan is a Vietnamese American writer living in the Greater Boston area. Her work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net, and appears or is forthcoming in Chicago Quarterly Review, swamp pink, phoebe, Solstice, Pangyrus, WBUR’s Cognoscenti, and DVAN’S diaCRITICS. She is an alumna of the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop, Juniper Summer Writing Institute, and GrubStreet’s Memoir Incubator and Essay Incubator Programs. She was also a resident at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and Sundress Academy for the Arts.

Thuy is currently working on her first book, a memoir-in-essays on time travel, identity, and estrangement. When she’s not writing, Thuy works in higher education and career development, practices ballet, and creates literary-themed cocktails on her Instagram @mixaphoria.
